2. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files a website places on your device. Local storage is a similar store in your browser that the website can read but that is not sent to us with every request.
3. The Cookies We Use
We use only Necessary cookies: the site cannot sign you in, protect your account or charge you in the right currency without them. They are always on, which is why the cookie notice has no switches. We do not use analytics, advertising, marketing or third-party tracking cookies.

When you pay, your bank may show its own card-verification (3-D Secure) page. That page is run by your bank or card scheme, not by us, and may set its own cookies under its own policy.
4. Browser Local and Session Storage
We also keep these items in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device and are never used to track you:

5. Your Choices
Because we use only necessary cookies, we do not ask for consent; the cookie notice tells you this when you first visit. You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time, but you will not be able to sign in or buy credits while cookies from Vertex are blocked.
If we ever want to use a cookie that is not necessary, we will add it to this policy first and set it only after you accept it; it will be off until you do.
